James H. (Jamie) Vooght

James H. Vooght, a retired control engineer for Dematic, and a former resident of Stony Point, died Friday, 17 August 2018 at his home at Yankee Lake. He was 69.
The son of the late Herbert Vooght and Elsa Ritchie Vooght, he was born 9 February 1949 in Brooklyn.
Jamie was a veteran of the United States Army, a former Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 61 of Stony Point, NY and an active member of the Mamakating Seniors.
He is survived by his two sons: James S. Vooght and his wife Jessica of Garnerville, and Richard J. Vooght and his wife Hannah of Highland Lakes, NJ; brother: Roger Vooght and his wife Christine, and their children: Carrie (Dana) Loud and Thomas (Jayna) Vooght of East Boothbay, ME; his longtime love: Fran X. Toepfer of Wurtsboro; and her children Chuck (Laurie) Toepfer, Dan (Miriam) Toepher, Greg (Mary) Toepfer, Mary (Bob) Glennon and Grandpop to Tyler, Sofia, Daniel, Ellie, Katie, and Jack and his furry grandbabies Harley, Velma, and Lady.
